Muzzleloading Shoot at Friendship Indiana

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

We travel to Indiana to see black powder and the bluegrass connection at the worlds largest muzzleloader shoot this weekend, Sept. 27 and 28, on Kentucky Afield television. Sponsored by the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association, the Indiana town of Friendship welcomes pioneer weapons enthusiasts by the thousands. Among them is our own Kentucky Afield Host Tim Farmer. Surrounded by period attire, marksmen, traders and craftsmen who yearn for yesteryear, its easy to see the role that the Kentucky long rifle played in the settlement of a nation.
